April 2000
Eric J. Burch gains acquittal of man charged with aggravated robbery in his first criminal felony jury trial. The trial occurred in Coffee County.
April 2003
Eric J. Burch represents lady charged with second degree murder. She was found not guilty by reason of insanity in Franklin County. This case marked one of the only times in Tennessee history the defense has been used successfully. The Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the decision in State v. Kennedy.
August 2006
Eric J. Burch obtains a plea agreement of a man charged with attempted first-degree murder. The man pled guilty to assault in Coffee County.
May 2010
Eric J. Burch obtained a $500,000.00 judgment against a wife who had her husband killed in Coffee County.
